Old wisdom
Turn to the other side
After a bad dream: seek refuge, turn onto your other side, do not dwell on it.

Hadith collected in Sahih al-Bukhari advise that after a bad dream a person should seek refuge from its harm, turn onto the other side, and not dwell on it or spread it. Sleep science would recognise each step: interrupting the pattern, changing body position, and avoiding rumination in the night. Nightlight's grounding steps follow the same rhythm.
About this pairing
Tradition pages are written with, and reviewed by, people from that tradition or scholars of it. They are offered as perspective, never as medical advice or prophecy, and in the app you only see the traditions you choose.
